Introduction
CLAN WULFHAR is a Dark Age warfare society, formed in 2003 by Paul and Christine Yates and Debbie Greenhill, who bring to the group over 10 years of re-enactment experience with various groups across the country.
The group concentrates on providing an authentic re-enactment of the Viking way of life through demonstrations of Viking combat and a growing "living history" display, which includes a variety of Dark Age tents, a cooking area, and an armoury.
All members of the group are trained in the skills and techniques required for day to day Viking life - whether this means learning to handle a sword and shield, or the camp based crafts such as cooking and clothes making - is a matter of choice.
The members of the group all have a keen interest in the Vikings and their history, and everyone will be more than happy to share with you their stories, and tell you how they came to join Clan Wulfhar.
